Crochet maker to be applauded

Dear Editor:

Have some people, perhaps not many, seen the magnificent crochet American Flags hanging in the front windows of some businesses on Delaware Avenue in Palmerton?

There is a particularly large one hanging at the Country Harvest Office.

I was priveleged to meet the woman who made these flags. Her name is Helen Snyder. She refuses to take any money for all the work she has done to remember the meaning and value of the American flag.

She is to be applauded for the dedication and hard work that she has put into each one, not to mention the high cost of each.
