Chestnut Ridge Seniors
The Chestnut Ridge Seniors will meet on Thursday, July 22 at 11 a.m. at the Kunkletown Volunteer Fire Co. Bring a bag lunch and your lucky charms to play bingo.
Historical society
The Eldred Township Historical Society will meet on Tuesday, July 20 at 7 p.m. at the Eldred Twp. Municipal building. The program will be "Show and Share." Members are asked to bring in any antique and unique patriotic items and vacation postcards and memorabilia. Visitors are welcome.
Smith Reunion
Bring your lawn chairs to the 82nd Annual Smith Reunion on Sunday, July 25 at St. Matthew's picnic grove under the direction of the Rev. Sterling Schnell, to be held, rain or shine. Registrations begins at 12:30 p.m., reunion meeting at 1:30 p.m. There will be entertainment by Toad Creek Duo and games for the children and a silent auction. The Lehighton Band begins playing at 4:30 p.m. and the cake walk begins at 5:30 p.m.
Vacation Bible School
Sign your youngsters up now for Vacation Bible School to be held at St. Matthew's UCC from Aug. 2-6, starting at 9 a.m. Call (610) 381-2442.
