Two vehicle crash probed in Carbon

State police at Fern Ridge reported investigating a two vehicle crash about 11:19 a.m. on Sunday, July 18, along SR903 in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

Troopers said James P. McBrearty, 49, of Lake Harmony, was driving a 1997 Ford club wagon northbound when Daniel J. Fey, 34, of Scotrun, attempted to turn left from 903 onto Old Stage Road and pulled directly into the path of McBrearty. The Ford struck the front driver side of Fey's 1996 Infiniti with its front passenger side.

Fey sustained a minor injury while McBrearty was not hurt.

Troopers cited Fey for turning movements and required signal.
