Driver facing DUI after Pocono crash

The driver involved in a one vehicle crash in Monroe County is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI).

Pocono Mountain Regional police said on July 15 about 4:24 p.m. officers were dispatched to Holiday and Alter drives in Stillwater, Pocono Summit, to a reported crash. On scene they spoke to the driver, identified as Thomas Yau Jr., 19, of Pocono Summit.

He was found to be under the influence and failed field sobriety tests. He was placed under arrest for DUI of a controlled substance and will be charged, police said.
