Nesquehoning citations issued

Nesquehoning police reported on several citations issued by officers recently.

Officer Timothy Wuttke filed a non-traffic citation against Daniel Tristani, 1165 E. Catawissa St., for delinquent sanitation bill from December 2009 to April in the amount of $135 plus a $27 surcharge fee.

Wuttke also issued the following citations: on July 16, no passing zone SR209 and SR93; July 17, two stop sign violations at SR209 and Mermon Ave.; and July 18, stop sign, same location.

Officer Brian White issued the following citations: July 18 and 19, stop sign at SR209 and Mermon Ave.

Officer Ron Peck issued the following citations: July 18 cited Angel Lopoez-Aldana, 120 S. Sixth St., Lehighton, for drivers required to be licensed and speeding, 59 miles-per-hour in a 40 zone on SR54 at the "S-turns"; also on July 18 speeding 43 in a 25 zone on SR209 at Oak St.

On July 19 Chief Sean Smith received a report of vandalism in the area of 35 W. Catawissa St. Stephen Hirochek reported that someone damaged the windshield on his 2004 Kia Optima sometime earlier in the morning.
