Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 11 p.m. on Thursday, July 22, along SR209 at Hideaway Hills Rd., in Polk Township.

State police at Lehighton said Wilhem W. Nebel, 47, of Saylorsburg, was stopped at that location for various motor vehicle code violations. He was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance, troopers said, and was placed under arrest. Charges will be filed, troopers added.
