Theft from vehicle incident probed

State police at Lehighton are investigating a theft from a vehicle incident.

John B. Hasili II, 30, of Bethlehem, reported his 2008 Pontiac G5 was entered while parked on a lot at Penn's Peak, along Maury Rd., in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County, and removed as a iPod touch, GPS unit, fishing rod and various CDs.

The incident occurred sometime between 7:30 and 11 p.m. on Thursday, July 22.

Troopers are also investigating a break-in. Chris M. Hardy, 49, of 58 Ramblewood Drive, Saylorsburg, Ross Township, Monroe County, reported his home was entered sometime between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Thursday. Entry was made through a rear sliding glass door. Nothing was reported taken in the incident.
