Schuylkill driver facing DUI count

A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 3:05 a.m. on Saturday, July 24, at the intersection of SR924 and SR339, in Brandonville, East Union Township.

State police at Frackville said Charles S. Williams, 45, of Lost Creek, was stopped for a traffic violation. He was found to be under the influence and taken to the barracks for a breath test. The test indicated Williams was over the legal limit of .08 percent. He will be charged, troopers added.
