The semifinals are set for the Eastern Schuylkill Recreation Commission's summer basketball playoffs.
The defending champions (R.R. Frey Services) won on Tom Toth's buzzer-beater and will play Cuz-N-Joe's Place. Top-seeded Guerilla Squad will play Service Electric in the nightcap.

Service Electric-
Mr. Z's Contracting
Service Electric jumped out to a 13 point halftime lead against Mr. Z's Contracting on their way to an 82-73 victory. Jeff Peel's 21 points, including five three-pointers, topped Service Electric. Joe Schaeffer and Mike Truscott each added 12 points.
Tony Gomez poured in a game-high 23 points for Mr. Z's while knocking down seven triples. Ted Styka and Jordan Wartman each had 16 points in the loss.
Monday, July 26
R.R. Frey Services-
Vesuvio's Pizzeria
Tom Toth's put back as time expired propelled R.R. Frey Services to the semifinals as they defeated Vesuvio's Pizzeria 67-65. Toth ended with 12 points.
Jason Derr had a game-high 23 points for R.R. Frey, including five three-pointers, and Jim Barron had 14 points in the win.
Ibis Saracina led Vesuvio's with 16 points, and Mike DeMarco and Carlos Rivas each had 11 points.
Cuz-N-Joe's Place-Lucky's Deli
Cuz-N-Joe's Place used a nine point half-time lead to defeat Lucky's Deli 71-64. Jon Veet topped all scorers with 29 points, and Soko Mujovic had 19 points for Cuz-N-Joe's.
Lucky's Deli was led by Jack Buchinsky's 21 points, and Jeff Krusinsky had 20 points in the loss.
Guerilla Squad-
BGL Electric
Top-seed Guerilla Squad defeated BGL Electric 67-46. Dave Wilson led Guerilla Squad with 16 points, and Paul Carey scored 14 points.
Mark Mazur led all scorers with 34 points for BGL.
