Shooting incident in Schuylkill

State police at Schuylkill Haven are investigating a shooting incident at a Schuylkill County residence.

Troopers said unknown persons fired an unknown caliber bullet into the rear of the home of Arland Becker, 48, of 1338 Mountain Rd., in Pine Grove, Washington Township. The bullet traveled through the aluminum siding entering the interior of the home and then becoming lodged in the mattress of a second floor child's bedroom.

The incident occurred on Sunday, July 25, sometime between 6:40 a.m. and 4:20 p.m. Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to call troopers at (570) 593-2000.
