Criminal mischief incidents probed

State police at Lehighton reported on several acts of criminal mischief investigated by troopers.

Robert Miller, 57, of 503 Lower Main Rd., Parryville, Carbon County, reported someone smashed the windshield on his 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt while parked at his residence. The incident occurred sometime between 8 p.m. on Monday, July 28, and 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday.

Rebecca Sue Altemose, 26, of SR209, Box 289A, Effort R.1, Polk Township, Monroe County, reported someone smashed the passenger side window on her vehicle while parked in the driveway of her home. The incident was reported at noon on July 21.

Nancinne S. Metz, 57, of 204 Bridge St., Weissport, reported someone damaged the windshield on her 1999 Ford F350 truck while parked at her residence. Damages were estimated at $300. The incident occurred sometime between 6 p.m. on Monday and 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

During the period of 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, and 3 p.m. on Thursday someone fired paintballs at the clubhouse at the Beltzville Lake Estates along Lake Rd., Lehighton, Franklin Township.

Elmer Searfoss, 62, of 7705 Flyte Rd., Saylorsburg, Ross Township, reported someone smashed his mailbox. The incident was reported on Thursday.
