Can sludge, fly ash be blamed for fish kill?
Dear Editor:
With the recent Fish Kill in the Schuylkill River near Tamaqua, makes one wonder is the sludge and fly ash dumped in the pits have anything to do with it.
The area where they feel the problem originates is where the mine water flooded 309 a few years back, could this be the problem again?
Only this time the mine water is laced with God knows what that our DEP allowed to be dumped and swore was not harmful, but then again DEP and government is NEVER wrong.
Just a thought.
