Vehicle stop leads to drug charges

A vehicle stop has led to drug charges against three Monroe County residents.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers stopped a vehicle along Sullivan Trail Road, east of Clearview Road, in Long Pond, about 2:01 a.m. on May 29 for vehicle code violations.

A search of the vehicle was conducted and found was 41 bags of heroin, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.

The driver was identified as Robert Mozelesky Jr., 29, of Pocono Summit, and the passengers as Robert Mozelsky Sr., 52, of Pcoono Township, and Melissa Dennis, 23, of Pocono Summit. All three were placed under arrest and transported to police headquarters for processing.

All three were charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver.

Mozelesky Jr. was also charged with driving under the influence (DUI) of a controlled substance. All three were then transported to the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignment.
