Domestic incident reported in Monroe

Pocono Mountain Regional police reported responding to a domestic incident on May 29 in which an arrest was made.

Police said about 10:20 a.m. officers went to 3516 Devon Rd., in Tobyhanna, to a domestic incident. On scene officers were told by Jackie McClain, 37, of that address, that she and her husband, Leonard McClain, 43, got into an argument which turned physical. Mrs. McClain had physical injuries which occurred when she was hit with a broom stick and a spoon, police said.

Leonard McClain was placed under arrest and charged with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct. He was then lodged in the county prison pending arraignment.
