Lycoming man facing charges
A Lycoming County man is facing several charges following an incident that occurred on Wednesday, June 3, between 3 and 11:19 a.m. at an apartment in Schuylkill County.
State police at Schuylkill Haven said at about 3 a.m. Clinton Knott, 29, of Jersey Shore, broke into the apartment of Erin Hammer, 30, of 308 Heritage Heights, Pottsville, Norwegian Township. Once inside he removed some personal items including four U.S. Savings Bonds in his son's name. He was apprehended by police outside the residence at about 11:19 a.m. and taken into custody.
Knott was charged with violating a active protection from abuse (PFA) order Hammer had against him along with burglary, theft and receiving stolen property. He was arraigned before District Judge Charles Moran, of Pottsville, and released after posting 10 percent of $5,000 bail.
