Citation for violating dog law

Failure to clean up after a dog resulted in a citation being issued against one Summit Hill woman.

According to Summit Hill police, officers received complaints against Carrie Thomas, 33, of 116 E. Amidon St., stating that she had not been cleaning up after her dog. The area was checked periodically between May 10 and May 21. During that time, the feces was not cleaned up.

A citation was filed against Thomas for violating the borough dog law.
