Errant arrow almost hits three
A Lehigh County woman has been arrested after an arrow she shot while target shooting almost struck three of her neighbors. State police at Fogelsville said the incident occurred about 8:20 p.m. on Saturday, June 12, along Brookdale Road, in Breinigsville, Upper Macungie Township.
Troopers said Valery Jane Kuntzweiler, 59, was in her front yard target shooting when she missed her back stop. The arrow flew across the road and through the front yard of Corey Jared Schmoyer, 30. The arrow flew between Schmoyer, Adam Horst, 33, and Danyell Horst, 34, all of Breinigsville. The arrow struck the parked 2007 Chevrolet HHR of Schmoyer in the tail gate area causing a hole.
Kuntzweiler was charged with recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief.
