Wanted

Lansford police have issued a warrant for Tiffany Bright, 29, last known address 330 Coal St., Lehighton, stemming from an incident, which took place on April 4 on E. Patterson St., Lansford.

Charges were filed by Officer Jason Helmer. Bright is charged with false identification to law enforcement.

According to an affidavit of probable cause, Officer Jason Helmer was dispatched to 860 E. Patterson St. for a report of unwanted persons on the property.

Upon making contact with the people, he identified himself and asked for identification. One person said she didn't have her driver's license, but spelled her name as "Tiffany Brite" and provided a birth date as Dec. 27, 1983.

After she was released, Helmer learned from the Carbon County Communications Center that they were unable to find any record of a person by that name. After conducting a universal search using a different spelling of the last name, Helmer learned she was really Tiffany Bright and that her birth date was Dec. 7, 1980.

He also learned she had an active warrant from the Pottsville Police Department for altering a prescription.
