Lehighton couple wed 50 years
Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Snyder
Shirley and Rodney Snyder of Lehighton are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married on June 18, 1960 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Lehighton by the Rev. Harold W. Engle.
Mrs. Snyder is the daughter of Mary Bennett of Lehighton and Edward Goldberg of Nazareth. Mr. Snyder is the son of the late Minnie and Clayton Snyder.
They have three children: Bonnie, who is engaged to John Oblick of Bowmanstown; Linda, who is married to Brad Billiq of Palmerton; and Rod and his wife Lorraine of Lehighton.
The Snyders have four grandchildren: Olivia, Amanda, Sarah and Sami.
