Luzerne man cited for bad check
Tamaqua police have charged a Hazleton man with issuing a bad check to a local woman.
Andrew T. Evans, 21, of 514 W. Green St., allegedly wrote out a check for $1,000 as payment to Elizabeth Emerich of Tamaqua. The incident took place Jan. 24 at 151 Penn St.
The check was not honored by the bank due to insufficient funds in Evans' account.
