Graduates from Misericordia

Sarah Swankoski, daughter of Ray and Patty Swankoski of Coaldale, was one of over 500 students to graduate from Misericordia University, Dallas, Pa., during its 84th commencement exercises, held May 23.

Swankoski received a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She has accepted a position with Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital in Bethlehem.

A 2006 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, she is the granddaughter of Joseph and Peggy Rebarchak of Hazle Township, and Irene Swankoski of Hazleton.
