Graduates from Moravian College

Marcey Lynn(Muffley) Goodbred, daughter of Clarence and Linda Muffley of Lehighton, received her B.S.N. during the commencement ceremony held at Moravian College in Bethlehem on May 15. A nursing pinning ceremony was held May 14 at the college, where Marcey's father was given the honor of pinning his daughter.

During the ceremony, each student was asked to briefly share something about a person that influenced their decision to pursue a career in nursing. Marcey chose to honor her grandmother, Joyce Muffley, who recently passed away from complications of lung cancer. Her grandmother was very proud of her for achieving something she had only been able to dram about.

Marcey currently resides in Bethlehem with her husband Andy, a third-year Temple medical student at St. Luke's Hospital. She plans to pursue a career in the health care field.
