Tamaqua rolled to a recent Schuylkill-Berks Legion victory, while the Franklin Township Patriots also enjoyed recent success in Carbon Babe Ruth League action.

Tamaqua scored 11 runs in the first and Derek Linkhorst pitched a one-hitter as the Blue Sox rolled to a recent 14-0 win over Wyomissing.
Linkhorst walked three and struck out five in his five innings of work. He also had two hits, one a double, scored twice and knocked in two runs.
Ty Rother had three hits, scored three runs and had three RBI for the winners while Mike Streisel added two hits, one a homer, scored three times and had three RBI. Chris Pilla also chipped in with two hits and two runs.

Anthony Rossino had a hit and scored three runs, while Vince Mele had a hit and scored two runs for the winners.
Jacen McEvoy was the winning pitcher.

Vince Mele went 3-for-3 and scored a run as the Franklin Township Patriots posted a 7-3 win over the Towamensing Yankees.
