Tamaqua-Franklin Township L.L. game at Christman Field

The Tamaqua at Franklin Township District 18 Little League 11-12 year-old tournament game scheduled for Friday, June 25 at 6 p.m. has been moved to Christman Field on Walnut Street.

Fans traveling from Tamaqua can take Route 209 North through Nesquehoning and Jim Thorpe to Lehighton. In Lehighton, make a slight left at Bankway Street and at East Bridge Street, then take the first left onto Bridge Street. Turn left at Canal Street and continue onto Fairyland Road. Turn left to stay on Fairyland Road and make a left at Indian Hill Road. Then take the first right onto Walnut Street. The field will be on the left.

There will also be two Babe Ruth games at the complex on Friday night. Additional bleachers are being brought in, but fans should bring lawn chairs if possible.
