There are positions available for Jim Thorpe residents, who are interested in serving as a memberof the Zoning Hearing Board or the International Property Maintenance Code Board. Letters of intent should be mailed to the borough office, 101 E. 10th Street, by Thursday, July 29. Please mark the envelope as to which position you are interested.

Bible school

Vacation Bible School will be held at the Ebenezer E.C. Church, 441 Center Ave., during the week of June 28 to July 2, from 6-8:45 p.m. If you wish more information about the program or wish to register your child, call the church office, (570) 325-2855 or register on line at eecc@verizon.net. The program is open to children ages 5-18.
