3 cited for trespassing

Three Tamaqua males have been cited for trespassing after they were discovered on Tamaqua Area School District property near midnight.

Officers were dispatched to the Tamaqua Elementary School at 11:25 p.m. on June 15 after a neighbor heard smashing sounds coming from the soccer field area.

A 17-year-old juvenile, Zack Zimmer, 18, of 124 W. Cottage Ave., and Jacob Tyler Bumberger, 19, of 14 E. Union St., were found in the area of the field's concession stand.

All three were taken into custody and cited for trespass.
