Husband breaks his wife's nose

James Remaley, 62, of Schnecksville, has been cited by state police at the Fogelsville barracks with simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct after he struck his wife and broke her nose.

Police said the incident happened at 8:30 p.m. June 18 at 1091 Millcreek Road (Wal-Mart plaza) in Lower Macungie Township.

Police said the man "backhanded" his wife, Tracey, 55, while sitting in their pickup truck, and then drove her to the hospital where it was determined her nose was broken.
