Lehighton Legion still tied for first
The Lehighton Legion came up with three big wins over the weekend and could clinch at least a tie for the LV championship with a win at Northern Valley on Tuesday.

Mountainville-Lehighton
Greg Pecha hurled Lehighton to a 12-2 five-inning win over Mountainville on Saturday.
Jacen Nalesnik was two-for-three with four RBI's, including a two-run homer in the third.

Tyler Harris went three-for-four with three singles and one RBI at the plate and also hurled a complete game as Lehighton defeated Mountainville 7-6.
Pat Janecki also added two triples for the winners.

Tyler Hill threw five strong innings in his legion debut as Lehighton rolled to a 10-2 win ove North Parkland.
The win lifted Lehighton to a 15-6 record and kept it in a first place tie with Salisbury.
Ryan Blasko came on to pitch the final two innings for Lehighton.
Jacen Nalesnik hit a three-run homer in the bottof of the first and finished three-for-four with four RBI's. Casey Lawrence also went three-for-four.

Tamaqua-Kutztown
The Blue Sox stranded nine runners and wound up coming a run short as Kutztown picked up a 4-3 win.
Tamaqua had the bases loaded in the sixth and scored just one run. It also left two on in the seventh scoring just one run.
Ty Rother and Mike Streisel and three and two hits respectively for the Blue Sox.
Tyler Milot suffered the loss.

Tamaqua-Fleetwood
Fleetwood jumped all over Tamaqua pitchers in the first two innings scoring 11 runs and never looked back to pick up a 15-2 win.
Fleetwood pitcher Jeff Bell scattered five hits on a nice picthing performance to get the win.
Mike Streisel had two of the five hits for Tamaqua.

Joe Tyahla gave up two hits in five innings of work and went three-for-four with a double and triple as the Towamensing Yankees edged the East Stroudsburg Mustangs 8-7.
Jeo Rodriguez and Jesse Reis both had two RBIs for the Yankees. Nick Kazura and Joe Otero both had two RBIs for the Mustangs.

The Yankees came from behind with two runs in the fifth and six more in the sixth to hand Hazleton its first loss of the season, 10-6.

Jim Lavender had the game-winning RBI inthe sixth. Rebovich had three hits, including a triple and home run along with five RBIs for Franklin.

FT Patriots-JT Royals
The Patriots rolled to a 15-4 five inning wih over the Jim Thorpe Royals on Saturday.
Anthony Rossino had two triples and scored two runs, while Anthony Farano and A.J. Wenrich each had two hits and scored twice for the Patriots.
Damian Richards went three-for-three and scored a run for the Royals.
The Bruins and Patriots meet tonight at Christman Field at 5:45 for the championship.
