Slatington driver facing DUI count
A Slatington driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident that occurred about 2:22 a.m. on Saturday, June 26, along SR222 bypass at Krocks Road, in Lower Macungie Township, Lehigh County.
State police at Fogelsville said Kevin Leon Gruber, 29, of Neffs Laurys Road, was driving a 2003 Dodge Durango when stopped for speeding. The Dodge also had an expired registration.
Gruber was found to be under the influence and was placed under arrest. Gruber will be charged with DUI, speeding, careless driving and operating a vehicle with an expired registration, troopers said.
