The Carbon County commissioners approved the following personnel actions in the county during the month of February:

Resignations

• John T. Klein, Hazleton, 911 operator, Communications Center, effective Feb. 18.

• Nicole E. Stover, Weatherly, nurse aide, Weatherwood, effective Feb. 15.

• Paul J. Kattner, Jim Thorpe, deputy sheriff, Sheriff's Office, effective Feb. 19.

• Ramona Rodriguez, Weatherly, nurse aide, Weatherwood, effective Feb. 26.

Retirement

• Joan A. Zacharias, Hazleton, nurse aide, Weatherwood, effective Feb. 28.

Sheriff's Appointment

• Bradley A. Litts, Lehighton, part-time security officer, Sheriff's Office, effective Feb. 22.

Changes of Status

• Krisanne Gerhart, Weatherly, from part-time laundry/housekeeping aide, Weatherwood, to nurse aide, Weatherwood, effective Feb. 28.

• Harley K. Gessat, Summit Hill, from part-time corrections officer, Corrections, to part-time corrections officer/Teamsters, Corrections, effective March 1.

• Thomas B. Wassil, Weatherly, from part-time dispatcher, Communications Center, to 911 operator, Communications Center, effective March 8.
