Retail theft at Country Junction

State police at Lehighton reported that a retail theft took place at 5:15 p.m. Feb. 24 at Country Junction, SR209, Towamensing Township.

Police reported that the thief was a white female, thin, about five feet, six inches tall and in her late 40s or early 50s, with dyed blonde hair, dark eyes and wearing a low cut shirt and dark jeans and a black square leather purse.

The woman was accompanied by a younger white female described as thin, about five feet, four inches tall, teenager, with light brown hair, wearing glasses with a tan colored zip up hooded sweatshirt and jeans. They were in a white 1990s coupe.

The woman removed items from the store and fled. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at (610) 377-4270.

Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward if their information leads to an arrest.
