LCCC to offer new wellness class

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) will offer a new wellness course that provides certification to both professionals and non-professionals. The following noncredit class is held at the college's Schnecksville campus.

Introduction to CranioSacral Therapy course will offer a gentle, hands-on method of therapy used to relieve headaches, reduce stress, control pain, and promote relaxation, as well as providing relief for fibromyalgia patients and children with ADD and Autism.

The Upledger Institute, Inc. will award 12 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) upon successful completion for certified individuals, including NCTMB and PA Physical Therapists and. A BU certificate of completion will be awarded to non-professionals.

Class will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 20 and 21, from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. at LCCC's main campus in Schnecksville. Course number is #CAR 916-50.
