Citations issued
State police at Lehighton reported on several citations issued by troopers.
Two students at Palmerton Area High School in Lower Towamensing Township were cited for underage drinking. Troopers said the two males, ages 17 and 18, arrived at the school and had the odor of an alcoholic beverage.
An investigation revealed the two admitted drinking alcohol prior to arriving at the school. The incident occurred on Monday, March 1, about 7:56 a.m.
A 15-year-old male was cited for criminal mischief for an incident reported on Feb. 25 about 5:22 p.m. He is charged with damaging a camera belonging to Mike Telopo, 38, at 3121 Blue Mountain Drive, in Ross Township, Monroe County.
A 13-year-old male from Effort has been charged with terroristic threats for an incident reported about 3:30 p.m. on Feb. 21 at 153 Grand Mesa Drive, in Effort, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Troopers said the male threatened to assault a 12-year-old male from Effort with a knife.
The teen is also facing charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct filed through the Monroe County Juvenile Probation Office.
