Autograph session slated on Saturday

Jim "Trooper" Pompa, left, owner of Soundcheck Records in Jim Thorpe, hands a copy of the Doughboys C.D. to Dan Hugos of JTAMs Productions at the Mauch Chunk Opera House. The Doughboys band will appear at Soundcheck Records on Saturday, March 6 at 2 p.m. Anyone visiting the shop can pick up a two-for-one coupon for the 8:30 p.m. show at the Mauch Chunk Opera House that evening. A partnership has been formed between JTAMs, the production company at the Mauch Chunk Opera House, and Soundcheck Records, an old-time full service record shop that relocated from Lehighton to Jim Thorpe.
