March 5, 1988 Tara Rottet records a triple-double to help Tamaqua rally for a 65-64 upset win over Southern Lehigh in a District 11 Class AAA girls quarterfinal contest. Rottet finishes with 15 points, 18 rebounds, 13 assists and six steals to pace the Lady Raiders. Missy Chinchar tallies 10 of her 17 points during the fourth quarter, which sees Tamaqua outscore the Spartans by a 19-12 margin, while Carla Kemmerer scores a team-high 18 points and pauls down 12 boards. The winners, coached by Karen Sheets, also receives 10 points from Colleen Valent.
