Bloodmobile
The next American Red Cross Bloodmobile visit to Tamaqua will be on March 31. The Salvation Army gym will be turned into a blood collection center. Hours will be from 1-6 p.m.
Anyone 17 or older, who weighs at least 110 pounds and is in general good health is eligible to donate blood.
This visit will be sponsored by the Daniel Bingaman Insurance Agency.
Class of 2010
Parents of the Tamaqua Class of 2010 continue to meet Mondays, at 7 p.m., at the Tamaqua Elks, to work on decorations for the All Night Party. Parents of all class members are welcome.
The Elks Building is located at 301 W. Broad St.
Jack and Jill
The Tamaqua YMCA's Jack and Jill Pre-School is now accepting applications for the 2010-2011 school year. Preschool programs are open to children between the ages of 3-5. Four or five hour programs are available.
An open house will be held March 19, from 9-11 a.m., at the Tamaqua YMCA, located in the former Jamesway store.

Trinity UCC
The Rev. Dr. David Grant will officiate at the 10 a.m. worship service this Sunday in Trinity United Church of Christ. The service will include words for young Christians. Nursery care will be available. Sunday school classes are held at 8:45 a.m.
Activities for next week include: Monday, Consistory meeting at 7 p.m.; Wednesday, midweek Lenten service at 7:30 p.m.; Thursday, Confirmation class meets at 4 p.m. and Senior Choir rehearsal will be at 6 p.m.
