Some 60 of the 120 employees at the Carbon County Home for the aged failed to report to work today in what has been termed a "massive sick call." Those not showing up included nurses, aides, and attendants. Robert Sturtevant, administrator, said he has called several area nursing groups and senior citizen clubs to assist in caring for the patients in the home. Sturtevant is asking relatives of guests to either care for them or remove them until conditions return to normal. Officials said they don't know the reason for the sick call.
