Monroe driver facing DUI count

A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following an incident in Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Jeffrey Borger, 40, of Kunkletown, was observed passing a school bus in a curve with oncoming traffic along SR100, just south of Hollenbach Rd., in Lowhill Township. The incident occurred about 3:59 p.m. on Friday, March 5.

Troopers said Borger was stopped and found to be under the influence. He was charged with DUI and traffic offenses, troopers added.
