Remembering Bertha Potter with an ice cream social

ELSA KERSCHNER/TIMES NEWS Pleasant Trees Personal Care Home, Ashfield, held an ice cream social for residents on Sunday. Two months earlier Bertha Potter of Jim Thorpe passed on. At the time she was a resident of Pleasant Trees. Contributions made in lieu of flowers were donated to the home by her daughters. Since she loved ice cream, it was decided the social would be a good memorial. Martha Scoch, Walter Matico and Lorraine Alich wait in line for their ice cream.
