Schuylkill man jailed on warrants

A Schuylkill County man was jailed on Monday after he was arrested at his workplace on several outstanding warrants.

State police at Frackville said Aaron Vandaley, 32, of Pottsville, was taken into custody at Highridge Industrial Park in Foster Township about 11:10 a.m. on warrants issued out of the office of District Judge Charles V. Moran, of Pottsville.

He was taken before Moran and arraigned on four counts each of posession of a controlled substance, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities, criminal use of a communication facility, and possession of a controlled substance; two counts of corrupt organizations; and eight counts of criminal conspiracy.

Vandaley was unable to post the $25,000 cash bail set by the court and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.
