Schuylkill woman jailed on warrants
A Schuylkill County woman was jailed on Sunday on multiple criminal warrants.
State police at Frackville said Jennifer E. Chatcavage, 25, of Shenandoah, was observed driving in Shenandoah about 10 p.m. on Sunday, March 7. Troopers said she was known to be wanted on outstanding active warrants issued out of the office of District Judge Anthony Kilker of Shenandoah.
She was taken into custody and arraigned before the duty DJ, who was Kilker. She was arraigned on warrants charging her with theft and receiving stolen property with bail set at $15,000 percentage.
While at Kilker's office is was discovered that she had additional active warrants for her arrest out of the DJ's office charging her with four felony counts each of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance-cocaine, delivery of cocaine, criminal use of communication facility and possession of cocaine. She was arraigned on those counts with bail set at $75,000 percentage. It was further learned she had an active warrant for retail theft, also from Kikler's office, issued to Shenandoah police.
She was unable to post any of the bail pieces and was committed to the county prison in Pottsville.
