State needs cell phone law

Dear Editor:

Yesterday's paper reported that the City of Allentown is banning the use of cell phones while driving.

They have followed the cities of Philadelphia, Erie and Harrisburg to ban cell phone use while driving.

When will Gov. Rendell join other adjoining states to pass a law concerning this as a driving hazard.

Is he going to wait until there are more accidents resulting in injury or death?

People, please let your voice be heard. Notify your local Representative that you are concerned now about this.
