Pleads guilty

Thomas Rhoades, 58, of 158 Angel Drive, New Ringgold, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment and was fined $25 plus costs of prosecution by Judge John E. Miller. He was cited by Patrolman Jason Lorah, West Penn Township police, at Nothstein's Auto Repair Shop, Clamtown Road, last Oct. 1. Charges of resisting arrest were nol prossed.

File for divorce

Newton E. Mull filed suit for divorce from Lynn A. Mull, both of 214 Oak St., Kaska, Blythe Township. They were married Oct. 12, 2002.

Lydia A. Gimeno filed suit for divorce from Edward J. Gimeno, both of 717 E. Center St., Mahanoy City. They were married July 15, 1995.

Granted divorce

Pamela Jean Hepler was granted a divorce from Michael Thomas Hepler Sr., both of Pottsville. They were married Oct. 27, 1977.

Samantha Shaud was granted a divorce from Francis Shaud, both of Tremont. They were married Oct. 6, 2007.

Revoke probation

William M. Zelinsky, 26, Port Carbon, had his probation revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and he was remanded to the Schuylkill County prison to serve three to 12 months with credit for having served 41 days. He had pleded guilty last May to charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and defiant trespass on Pottsville Housing Authority property and was placed on probation.

Revoke parole

David C. Hiraldo, 24, Pottsville, had his parole revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and 166 days of liberty were taken away and he was remanded to serve the balance of his sentence in the county jail and his maximum sentence was extended to Nov. 30. Hiraldo had pleaded guilty last August to charges of disordelry conduct, cirminal mischief and retail theft from Frank-N-Burger shop in Minersville and after serving 69 days in prison was released on parole.

Destroy weapons

After a hearing in court Judge Charles M. Miller rule that weapons confiscated by Pottsville police from a defendant should be destroyed. The weapons consisted of one 12 gauge double barrel shotgun, one .22 caliber revolver and one .38 caliber revolver.

Reduce bail

After a hearing Judge John E. Domalakes reduced the bail to $1,000 for Leon Christ Sr., but set a number of conditions, he must reside at 16 Shoreline Drive, Pine Grove; shall not consume or possess alcohol or illegal substances and continue with mental health treatment. Christ was charged by Cpl. Jeffrey Futchko, Pine Grove police with resisting arrest, harassment and public drunkenness.
