Rupell named to Empire 8 All-Conference team

Elmira College standout Erin Rupell was named to The Empire 8 Athletic Conference 2010 Women's Basketball All-Conference team.

Rupell, who is a Lehighton High School graduate, earned second team honors.

Rupell, a junior, led the Soaring Eagles in scoring with 11.7 points per game and 8.0 rebounds per contest. She also led this year's team in blocks with 22 and steals with 49. Rupell was EC's high scorer 11 of 25 games and grabbed team high rebounds in 16 games. Her offensive presence and dominance on the boards led to seven double-double performances.
