Tamaqua hires coaches

The Tamaqua Area School Board hired a number of coaches Monday evening.

Sam Bonner was rehired as head varsity football coach, along with the following assistant coaches: Mike Bonner and Bob Clemson, varsity assistant coaches; Clarence Opolsky, head freshman coach; Tom McCabe, head junior high coach; and Mike Luna, assistant junior high coach.

Stacey Setlock was retained as head volleyball coach, and Lori Mazloom as assistant coach.

Brian Reading and Tom Rodgers were approved as volunteer assistant baseball coaches.

Rick Morgans was appointed as a volunteer assistant girls soccer coach.
