3 hurt in Summit Hill crash

Three persons were injured, with one having to be rescued, after the vehicle they were traveling in crashed along White Bear Hill in Summit Hill. The crash occurred at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday between White Bear and Summit Hill. According to police, the vehicle was traveling along Route 902 when it went off the road and up the embankment on the right side, causing the vehicle to roll over. When Summit Hill police arrived on scene they discovered a car on its side with a woman trapped inside. Members of the Diligence Fire Company worked to extricate the passenger. Route 902 was closed for over an hour with Summit Hill Fire Police maintaining traffic control at the scene. The victims were treated at the scene by Lehighton paramedics then transported to area hospitals. No further details or the identification of the persons involved in the crash were available as of press time.
