SJRA holds 'Great Potato Roll'

The students of Saint Joseph Regional Academy (SJRA) in Jim Thorpe celebrated St. Patrick's Day on Wednesday by holding the school's first-time ever "Great Potato Roll" in which they competed by rolling their potato down a ramp hoping to achieve the greatest rolling distance with the winner being named "Top Spud". Pictured are, left to right : 7th grader Bret Luicana, who took First Place and the title of Top Spud with a winning distance of 31 feet 6 inches; and 5th graders Jake Paluck and Sean Choley.
