Woman cited for dog mess
A Summit Hill woman was cited twice after she failed to pick up her dog's excrement on a borough sidewalk.
According to borough police an officer on patrol on March 10 at 5:30 a.m. observed piles of dog excrement on the sidewalk in front of 264 W. Ludlow St. Upon investigation, the owner of the dog, Amanda Messinger, 19, lives at the aforementioned address in apartment A.
She was cited in accordance with the borough dog law for failing to immediately remove animal excrement from a public place.
On March 13, at 11 a.m., Messinger received a second citation for the same violation.
