Tamaqua street closing
Tamaqua Borough and PPL officials have announced that Hunter Street, in the Borough of Tamaqua, will be closed to traffic Wednesday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., between Spruce and Mahanoy Streets. The electric utility company will be working within that area during those hours.
Power outtages are possible throughout the workday.
