Domestic incident leads to an arrest
A domestic incident has led to the arrest of a Monroe County man.
Pocono Mountain Regional police said officers responded to 219 Annette Marie Drive, in Long Pond, about 7:39 p.m. on Sunday, March 21, to a report of a domestic incident.
On scene Anne Marie Andrews, 39, of that address, told officers her boyfriend, Anthony DiValentino, 55, same address, had pushed her down and got on top of her and hit her numerous times with both open and closed hands. Officers observed redness and bruises on the face and arms of Andrews.
DiValentino was taken into custody and placed in the county prison in Snydersville pending arraignement on charges of simple assault and harassment, police said.
